And we're back!!! Thank you all so much for waiting! I was a bit nervous to start posting again simply because it's been so long, but ultimately, I'm happy to share Vainglorious with you once more.
The little plot issues I mentioned last update that I was going to tackle? I've smoothed a number of things over, but yeah it's still kicking my ass. But then again, what are webcomics if not solving increasingly complex plot threads as you go? And isn't that half the fun? I'll make it work.
If you've been wondering where this comic has been, well: I've spent the last few months splitting my time between working on this new Vainglorious chapter, and building a pitch for a separate graphic novel idea I have. That pitch is still in progress and needs more work before it's submitted anywhere, but I'm very excited to say it's found me a wonderful agent to represent myself and my work. And even though I'm looking to create comics for print, Vainglorious has always been a webcomic and will always be available to read online for free. So you can continue to enjoy Rei's journey right here! :)
There's lots to look forward to this chapter — everything from incorrect lab procedures to interrogations to family BBQs, so I hope you enjoy the ride!
