Today's very fashionable guest art was drawn by Rado Rakotondrainitomaho! I love the clothes he picked out for Rei and Von - it suits them perfectly and they look so good ;; Not to mention the leaves framing them makes this whole drawing feel like a spread in a fashion magazine! Rei would love that.
Rad is a Madagascar-based artist making the webcomic
Handrava, a story about the strong Voanio, her cousin Papango, and their seemingly regular lives in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. I love this comic's warm and lively atmosphere, as well as its charming characters. I highly recommend reading it!
The illustration you see above actually began when Rad suggested an art trade. Rad is the best at dressing characters in casual clothes so naturally I jumped at the opportunity, and asked him to draw me Von in modern clothing! And then he threw Rei in there too! Wow!!
