Hello!
Today's wonderful guest art is by comics creator and illustrator Reimena Yee. I'm a big fan of Reimena's art and stories, so I was very excited to have her participate this month! The colours and patterns are beautiful, and Rei's perfect smile coupled with Hammer's grumpiness makes this another great illustration of what makes Vainglorious, Vainglorious.
Reimena is currently running a campaign to crowdfund the first volume of her Eisner-nominated, now completed webcomic
The Carpet Merchant of Konstantiniyya! To quote the official campaign, TCM is "set in 17th century Istanbul, centered around a carpet merchant and his relationship with faith, love and home in the aftermath of his death by a vampire."
The story is gentle and emotional, and the art is unlike any other art I've seen in comics before - with great care put into making the art style and comic paneling reflect the culture and many varied carpet designs that inspired this comic.
I highly recommend you read it, and that if you enjoy it, that you also support the book campaign!

I just finished tabling at a con this weekend, and was so tired I forgot to update at my normal time! Sorry for the delay and thank you for waiting! I want to make sure each piece of guest art gets its own time to shine so I'll be posting the other 2 pieces a day later this week (check back Thurs and Sat).
Thank you to everyone who came to say hi at Animaga! It was great meeting you all!
And to all you, thank you for reading and commenting! I'll see you this Thursday!
